Tom Lemmer has been painting for over 30 years, studying under several San Francisco Bay Area artists.
Tom graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and began oil painting of California nature as a hobby during his career years.
After a successful career in engineering, computing management, sales, network, and internet engineering, he has now retired to focus on the Fine Arts. He paints primarily impressionistic and realistic landscapes and cityscapes with rich oil colors. Recently he has taken on much higher activity in capturing the natural beauty of California. He has been coached by professional artists including Stefan Baumann and currently, Charles White.
Tom is Treasurer of the Alamo Danville Artists' Society in Danville, California, and exhibits at the Blackhawk Gallery in Danville, California.
